Although CHUMS core contracts are commissioned by the NHS, Local Authorities and our Charity ‘Friends of CHUMS’ we are also able to offer support on a session by session basis to families, schools and other agencies who may not have direct access to support via these contracts. This support is available across Luton and Bedforshire as well as in neighbouring Counties.

Support may include the family as a whole in a group workshop programme or the child/young person concerned may access individual support with a clinician.

Where a child/young person has been supported within one of our contracts but would benefit from some extra sessions after their core support has ended, families can choose to pay for a limited number of extra sessions.

Possible presenting issues include:

  • Anxiety/phobias
  • ASD
  • Behaviour including ADHD
  • Bereavement
  • Drug/alcohol worries
  • Family relationships
  • Peer relationships
  • Self esteem
  • Self harm
